However, if you really want something quicker, you do have the option of "walking and searching" for a beverage station (that's what we finally did to get a cup of coffee). My husband and I waited over an hour to have someone come buy and ask us if we wanted something to drink. There aren't too many places to eat in the immediate area, but if you want to take a drive, then head out to either Asheville, Bryson City, Dillsboro, or even go over the mountain to Maggie Valley, Drinks are not free here, except for coffee, tea, soda and water, and that's IF you can get someone to bring it to you. It's still an okay place to go to for weekend entertainment, but if you want to have anything that's pretty good to eat - GO OUTSIDE the casino the casino food is too pricey and it really stinks. This is the ONLY casino, so the Cherokee's have a lock on gambling in the area. There used to be a lot of winners around us that were "sounded out" by the thunder and lightening that they used to do, but you don't even hear of anyone winning anything anymore, since they were taken over by Caesars and then they refurbished the place. Even after 15 years since Harrah's Cherokee's grand opening, you still can't win anything at this place.
